hi, my son asked for a SL temple cake for his 8th b-day. When I googled to see if I had a prayer of filling his wish, yours is the cake that topped the charts! (I think I'm dead in the water) Do you have any tips or suggestions on how to create this cake? What type of cake to use or how to construct the spires?
I made it w/ gingerbread. I took several pictures of the temple and made a template w/ paper that fit first and then made each piece out of the gingerbread, baked it, cut them again to fit the original template and proceeded from there. It was tedious work, but ended up well. I hope you found what you were looking for.
